Fragrance story:
Chanel N°5 Eau de Parfum for women was launched in 1921 by the legendary designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. She wanted a fragrance that would reflect her childhood memories in Aubazine, France. This vision was brought to life by chemist Ernest Beaux, who presented several samples. Gabrielle preferred the fifth—hence the iconic name. The first 100 bottles were created as gifts for Chanel’s best clients, before the fragrance was officially sold in the boutique.
